Volkswagen Tiguan Facelift

Today, we're diving into the all-new Volkswagen Tiguan, which has introduced some exciting new features. One standout is a button located on the center console with an LED display. It activates as you approach it and allows you to control the stereo volume or switch between driving modes like Eco, Comfort, Sport, and Individual. We’ll explore if this feature is truly useful in our in-depth review of the new Tiguan.

From the outside, the Tiguan showcases a fresh design, including a full-width daytime running light across the front and sporty R-Line touches, such as aggressive bumpers and black accents. The R-Line also comes with larger, 20-inch wheels that impact the driving experience, which we’ll delve into later. Inside, the cabin boasts a redesigned dashboard, enhanced materials, ambient lighting, and a high-tech infotainment system. The upgraded screen is intuitive, though climate controls are integrated into the touchscreen, which might not be the most user-friendly setup.

In terms of practicality, the Tiguan offers ample storage solutions, spacious rear seating, and generous boot space, making it a strong contender in the family SUV segment. However, despite its many updates, the Tiguan shares many parts with its predecessor, so it might not feel as revolutionary under the surface. We’ll cover all these aspects and more, including engine choices and pricing, as we dive deeper into the new Tiguan in this video.
