New 2025 BMW M4 Coupe

where we're diving into the 2025 BMW M4 Competition XDrive Convertible. While the exterior and interior updates may be subtle, the most exciting news is under the hood—a more powerful engine boasting an extra 20 horsepower, bringing the total output to 530 hp. Torque remains the same at 650 Nm, but the peak RPM has increased to 6,250, up from the previous 5,600 RPM.

Despite the power boost, the acceleration time and top speed of the M4 Competition XDrive models remain unchanged. The Coupe version still sprints from 0-60 mph (96 km/h) in 3.4 seconds. The standard top speed is electronically limited to 249 km/h (155 mph), but with the optional M Driver's Package, the Coupe can reach 290 km/h (180 mph), while the Convertible tops out at 280 km/h (174 mph).

The rear-wheel-drive M4 Competition stays at 503 hp, while the base M4 continues with its 473 hp engine and retains the six-speed manual transmission.

On the exterior, the changes are minimal yet refined. The headlights feature a new design with a single LED module for both low and high beams, while the arrowhead-shaped daytime running lights double as turn indicators. The tail lights get a tech upgrade, borrowing laser technology from the exclusive BMW M4 CSL, giving the rear a striking new look. Additionally, the BMW badge on the trunk is now silver-edged, complemented by gloss black trim around the car. New M-design graphics for the hood and trunk add a bold, performance-inspired aesthetic.

Inside, the M4 has been refreshed with a redesigned steering wheel featuring modified spokes and a 12 o'clock red stripe. BMW’s curved display houses a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch center-mounted infotainment screen for an immersive driving experience.

Pricing for the 2025 BMW M4 lineup starts at $79,000 for the base model. The M4 Competition Coupe is priced at $83,200, the XDrive Coupe at $87,300, and the range-topping XDrive Convertible at $95,600.
